Le Nord du Mont Ferré Jules Brochet 2023

Born into a family of winemakers, Pierric Brochet obtained an Advanced Technical Certificate in viticulture and oenology in Avize before joining the Jacques Selosse estate. During this period that he discovered an alternative method aimed at encouraging the natural and authentic expression of the terroir. With his head brimming with ideas, he set up his own estate in Taissy, south of Reims, buying a few plots of vines to craft superb Champagnes. In the vineyard, chemical fertilisers and weedkillers have been rejected in favour of precise, meticulous work on the soil. The estate’s first vintage was unveiled in 2019, and perfectly embodies the sustainable and natural methods acquired during Pierric’s internship, reflecting the individual personality of each parcel. In the winery, Pierric uses traditional, low-intervention winemaking methods to produce powerful, elegant, lightly sparkling cuvées that are sure to be talked about for years to come.
