The wine

Puligny-Montrachet is globally renowned for its exceptional white wines. The limestone and clay soils typical of the appellation impart distinctive minerality and finesse, while the vineyards’ exposure ensures optimal fruit ripening. Les Enseignères lies at the entrance to the village of Puligny-Montrachet, on an exceptional terroir that yields fruit of remarkable quality. The winemaking process is extremely meticulous. The harvested grapes are gently pressed to extract the juice. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation adding fullness. The wine is then aged for around 12 months in oak, allowing it to gain complexity while preserving its freshness.
In the glass, the wine displays a brilliant yellow hue with golden glints. The refined and delicate nose is marked by aromas of white-fleshed fruit, lifted by subtle notes of white flowers and hazelnut. The palate is lively and fresh, with good structure, a fleshy texture and a finely judged balance between minerality and richness.
