Lot presentation
Château de Rol 1973
The wine
This wine boasts a garnet robe and a complex nose. Supple yet voluptuous, this is a beautifully balanced offering that finishes on long notes of vanilla thanks to some time in oak.
Château de Rol has 7 hectares in the Saint-Emilion commune. 30-year-old vines of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grow on limestone soils. The wines are raised in vats (90%) and barrels (10%). The average annual production is 46,400 bottles.
