Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru Bouchard Père & Fils 2009

The wine

In the municipality of Gevrey-Chambertin, the appellation of Chapelle-Chambertin is defined by its intensity combined with incredible finesse. The Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru from the Bouchard estate is generous, silky and delicate. Aged for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels, it boasts an intense bouquet of dark fruits, liquorice and leather and exceptional ageing potential.

Bouchard Père & Fils, founded in 1731, is one of the most important houses of Burgundy. Owned by Henriot Champagnes since 1995, this house has considerably expanded and is now one of the best merchants of Burgundy. This house also has its own domain of 130 hectares.
