The wine
This Morey-Saint-Denis is powerful and full-bodied. Full of fruit, the palate develops a freshness that makes way for a finish that persists nicely. Tannic, it will pair nicely with a characterful meat such as braised game or a strongly flavoured meat.
Virgil Lignier represents the 3rd generation at the head of the domaine. He pays particular attention to respecting the identity of each climat. Located in the village of Morey Saint-Denis, the domaine produces wines for aging. They have tannins but never in excess.
