The wine
On tasting, the ruby appearance of this Les Chenevery premier cru precedes a nose which reveals red berry aromas and toasted, undergrowth notes. The mouth is creamy, with a well-integrated acidity, with hints of red berries intermingling with tertiary aromas.
Virgil Lignier represents the 3rd generation at the head of the domaine. He pays particular attention to respecting the identity of each climat. Located in the village of Morey Saint-Denis, the domaine produces wines for aging. They have tannins but never in excess.
