Intensity
The La Côte d’Amigny cuvée, produced from a small parcel on the famous Chavignol hillside, is a Sauvignon Blanc bursting with character. This terroir is distinguished by shallow clay-limestone soil on Kimmeridgian marl, with vines planted in the 1950s. The grapes are harvested by hand once ripe and are carefully sorted into baskets. The whole bunches are fed into hydraulic presses for slow, gentle pressing, guaranteeing a clear, top-quality juice. The wine is divided up for ageing with 50% in new barrels, 25% in Wineglobes (single piece glass globes) and 25% in sandstone vats. After 18 months, the wine is blended and bottled without fining or filtration.
Tasting La Côte d’Amigny reveals a golden coloured wine with notes of white fruits and hazelnuts. On the palate, its aromatic power combines with a subtle freshness, offering a tropical and spiced experience with a remarkable length.

About the Producer Delaporte
Created in the 17th century, this family domain has been handed down from father to son since its creation. Matthieu Delaporte has been at the head of the domain since 2010, looking after 33 hectares of vines (majority of Sauvignon Blanc). He has given the domain a new revival. The harvests are manual, and the grapes are farmed according to organic principles so as to allow them to express their original terroir.
