Flagstone Heywood House 2002
The wine
Heywood House is named after Elsie Fraser Munn's house. She loved Sauvgnon blanc raised in barrels, just like this cuvée. The wine is fermented in barrels before maturing in casks for 10 months. The nose delivers lightly toasted aromas, with notes of rosemary, nectarine and mint. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, with aromas of citrus fruits, yet has a pleasant unctuosity. It pairs perfectly with seafoods and creamy dishes.
About the Producer Flagstone
