Chianti Montellori DOCG Canonau Sella E Mosca 1969
The wine
The Sangiovese grapes are fermented in thermoregulated stainless steel vats while macerating on their skins for some twenty days. To preserve the fruit's freshness and purity, the wine then ages in concrete tanks for a year before continuing its bottle élevage for a few additional months. A wine to be enjoyed in its youth with regional dishes. It will then be seductive with its ruby-red colour, particularly fruity bouquet and elegant, well-balanced palate.
About the Producer Montellori
Located in the heart of Tuscany, the Montellori domaine boasts 50 hectares of vines and has been making outstanding Chiantis since 1895. They are produced in a way which respects the predominantly clayey soils, sprinkled with seashells. Yields are low and environmentally friendly viticulture is practised.
