The wine
The wines are aged in 100% new barrels for between 18 and 22 months. The result is an excellent powerful, concentrated and rounded Margaux. This well balanced wine is ideal for laying down.
About the Producer Marojallia
Located in the commune of Arsac, adjoining Châteaux Le Tertre and Monbrison, the property lies on a deep gravel terroir and produced a classic Margaux until it was purchased by Philippe Porcheron. The new owner called in Thunevin's team (Valandraud) with a view to implementing the techniques necessary to produce an exceptional micro-cuvée, of which the first vintage was in 1999. The property also produces a second wine, Clos Margolaine.
