About the Producer Domaine des Peyre

Domaine des Peyre is located in the heart of Provence just south of Avignon, a hot spot for wine making for over 2,000 years. The farm dates back to the 18th century and was built on the foundations of a Roman villa. The domaine also boasts a 14th century chapel. The farm was taken over in 2012 and it took years of work to return its former glory (building renovation, a state-of-the-art cellar and vineyard reconfiguration). Open for oenotourism, the domaine exhibits some works of contemporary art. The vineyard spans 26 hectares in the Ventoux and Luberon AOC producing fruit forward reds, flavourful rosés and beautiful whites.
