Haute-couture craftsmanship produces a splendid, elegant and complex cuvée.
More infoThis G Acte 6 cuvée is the fruit of the dedicated efforts of Jacques, Sylvie, Baptiste and Julie, who were determined to produce a wine that would reflect the character of the terroir. To that end, they chose to blend 56% Merlot with 44% Cabernet Franc. The vines, which produce this complex, fine wine, climb on clay-limestone soils and are on average 25 years old. The harvested grapes are vinified in the purest Bordeaux tradition, with gentle and controlled macerations and extractions. The cuvée is aged in new oak casks for around 15 months before being bottled.
The ruddy-red colour reveals an expressive bouquet, with notes of red fruit harmoniously mingling with subtle floral notes. The generous, elegant palate reveals a fine tannins complemented by a delicate acidity leading to a finish of incomparable length. This cuvée promises excellent ageing potential.

About the Producer Château Grand Village
Château Grand Village is nestled in the heart of the Bordeaux winegrowing landscape, in Mouillac, alongside some of the region’s finest appellations. Sylvie and Jacques Guinaudeau took over the domain in 1979 and cultivate the 15 hectares of vines on clay-limestone soils with great passion. Helped by their son Baptiste and his wife Julie, they apply sustainable farming practices in the vineyards. Aware of today’s environmental challenges and with a view to protecting biodiversity, they cultivate each parcel with unique care, according to their needs, to allow each parcel to express its personality. Unsurprisingly, in the winery, vinification involves very little intervention, and sulphur is added in minute quantities to allow the fruit to fully express all its aromas naturally. It is in this privileged and authentic context that the domain produces exceptional vintages, reflecting a unique terroir sublimated by meticulous traditional expertise.
