More info

At the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation is renowned for the finesse of its red wines and the diversity of its climate, with 22 climats classified as Premier Cru. The Pinot Noir vines, planted on hillsides at altitudes of 250 to 400 metres, thrive on gravelly soils consisting of clay and limestone. The hand-picked fruit is macerated and fermented for around 15 days. In the winery, the winemaker favours minimum intervention and spontaneous fermentations triggered by native yeasts. The cuvée is transferred to oak casks and aged on the lees for several months.
The bright red colour reveals a tender and fruity bouquet, characterised by blackcurrant and cherry aromas combined with a subtle touch of violet. On the palate, the discreet tannins are well integrated and combine subtly with complex aromas of red fruit, culminating in a concentrated and persistent finish. This cuvée offers excellent ageing potential.
