Élodie Roy draws on almost eleven years’ experience of winegrowing with Anne Gros in Vosne-Romanée to cultivate her Aligoté vines with the utmost care, following the strict principles of sustainable viticulture. She has banned all chemical agents and synthetic preparations to promote a gentler form of viticulture that is more respectful of the environment. Each individual plot is cultivated with great respect for the plants and the terroir. In the winery, the philosophy is the same. The harvested grapes are carefully vinified, with little intervention, to allow the fruit to release all its delicious aromas naturally. The bright, golden colour is complemented by a delicate and elegant nose revealing fresh fruit notes mingling with subtle hints of lemon. The palate reveals a superb balance of liveliness and acidity, delicately leading to a flavoursome and refreshing finish. This 100% Aligoté promises excellent cellaring potential.
