Cuvée Découverte is an eminently drinkable wine made from young vines which is so enjoyable to drink because of the freshness of its fruit and its mineral quality. It has a very fruity, expressive nose with aromas of white-fleshed fruit (pears), citrus fruit and exotic fruit for certain vintages. On the palate, it retains this wonderful freshness, structured around its lovely acidity.
About the Producer Stéphane Aladame
Domaine Stéphane Aladame was created in 1992 on the Matagny appellation, by a young winemaker who was a mere 18 years old. From an initial 3 hectares, it has grown to 7 (including 6 in Montagny Premier Cru). Since its creation, responsible and sustainable farming has always prevailed and it is moving progressively towards organic farming by not using chemical fertilisers or phytosanitary products. It places great importance on the respect of the life of the soil through grinding and regular ploughing. This domaine produces fine wines whose quality is constantly improving.
