Its expressive nose offers up aromas of very ripe dark fruit with some delicate hints of spice. On the palate, spicy notes predominate, the tannins are tight and silky, and the length is excellent.
About the Producer Bila-Haut
Domaine de Bila-Haut has been the property of Michel Chapoutier in Roussillon since 1999. Located in Latour-de-France, the vineyard consists of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan vines. These are grown in accordance with (non-certified) biodynamic principles. The domain's range is consistent and worthy of consideration.
