Intensity
A moreish and zesty wine from the South West, at its best when it is young and fruity.
More infoThe Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grapes in this cuvée are grown sustainably and vinified in oak barrels and in vats. The wine is then matured for six months, partly in oak and partly in vats, and stirred regularly. It offers up an array of aromas, with notes of citrus, white and exotic fruits. Its lively and zesty palate has a long and elegantly bitter finish and is very moreish.
About the Producer Aydie
Château d'Aydie is located in the heart of the sunny wine region of Madiran, which has belonged to the Laplace family for generations. Today, four siblings manage the domain's 55 hectares on which the mythic grape Tannat grows. The domain's philosophy includes low intervention viticulture and meticulous vinifications. Their wines are sought after for their fluidity and elegant, lingering finish.
