Pinot Gris Eichberg Domaine Paul Ginglinger 2009
The wine
Pinot Gris wines tend to have a more intense yellow colour than Rieslings. It develops a complex nose of yellow fruit (especially peaches and sometimes mirabelle plums), pineapples and violets. After being kept for a few years, the wine releases spicy, smoky notes that are followed by honeyed aromas of dried fruit.
