The Gamay vines thrive on the region’s limestone-rich soils, providing the wines with length and freshness, drawing all the nutrients and energy they require to thrive. All chemical fertilisers and weedkillers are prohibited to favour a gentler, more environmentally friendly approach to viticulture, following organic and biodynamic principles. In the winery, the cuvée is unique in that it is matured for 9 months before being bottled.
The bright, intense ruby-red colour reveals a generous, heady nose, revealing delicious red fruit aromas mingling with notes of candied blackberries and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is full and fruity, expressing the very essence of Gamay, culminating in a long, perfectly balanced finish. This cuvée will display the full extent of its finest and most flavoursome aromas in its youth.
