Both mild and humid, the Allier region’s unique environment, nestling in the heart of the Loire Valley, benefits from oceanic influences, which gently increase and regulate temperatures. The Gamay vines flourish in the area between the communes of Saulcet and Verveuil-en-Bourbonnais. Each parcel of Gamay is lovingly cultivated following organic and biodynamic principles, to let the terroir and grape variety express their personality naturally. In the winery, traditional, low-intervention winemaking methods are used, with minimal doses of sulphur.
The slightly shiny, clear ruby-red colour reveals a delicate and intense bouquet of red fruit combined with subtle hints of violet. The delicate and light palate affirms the aromas of the nose while building to a fruity, fresh and persistent finish.
