More info

The Nebbiolo wines located at the heart of the Ornati region stretch along the commune of Monforte Each parcel of vines is cultivated with great care, without chemical fertilisers or weedkillers, and according to organic farming principles. After being picked entirely by hand, the grapes are rigorously sorted to ensure that the raw material is of the highest quality. During the winemaking process, fermentation itself takes a week in steel vats. The cuvée is then carefully aged in oak barrels for several months before bottling.
The bright, clear, ruddy-red colour reveals a bewitching bouquet of red berries and violets mingling with blackberry, plum, tobacco and candied liquorice. The robust, generous mouthfeel reveals aromas of sweet cherry, complemented by hints of spice, leading to a fruity, opulent finish.
