More info

Originating in the hills of Piedmont, this typical northern Italian wine is made from a rigorous selection of Nebbiolo grapes meticulously harvested by hand. The grapes get the finest characteristics of the Barbaresco terroir. Located near the Rabajà vineyard, the clay-limestone soils are rich in white stones, contributing to the freshness and rich fragrance of this wine. Ageing starts in large Slavonian oak casks for 18 months, followed by three months in steel containers, and finally 15 months in the bottle. This final stage allows the aromas to develop further and express their full depth.
A depth that is first expressed by an intense ruby colour, characteristic of its grape variety, and by a harmonious display of floral and red fruit notes. The acidity imparted by the soils balances the tannins, which are gently expressed throughout the tasting. Pair this wine with a typical Italian poultry or game dish to bring out all its flavours.
