The wine

This cognac house was founded in 1864 by Eugène Moyet and rose to fame in the late 19th century for its outstanding quality. At the time, it already exported its products to Asia and America. This momentum would nonetheless be halted by the First World War, during which the founder and his partner lost their lives. The house then became a sleeping beauty. Production did continue, however, and it released deeply consistent cognacs, with only two cellar masters taking over from one another until it was sold in 1978. Amassing an exceptional collection of old nectars, Moyet has since become known as a cognac antiquary, offering exceptionally rare bottlings that attest to the history of the region.
