Sazerac 18 years Of. bottled 2013
The wine
A Sazerac 18 year old from the Buffalo Trace 2013 Antique Collection. Distilled in 1985, this rye whiskey was produced at the George T. Stagg distillery (renamed Buffalo Trace in 1999 after being bought by Sazerac in 1992) by Schenley, originally to create a rye whiskey for the Cream of Kentucky brand. This project was abandoned and the whiskeys left to age before being being vatted in 2003. All Sazeracs in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection up until 2015 were bottled from these vats.
