The wine

Lady Luck is a blend of three casks, all American oak hogsheads: Caol Ila 1980 (#8165), Caol Ila 1984 (#5384), and Imperial 1995 (#100049). It was created in 2009 by John Glaser, who was inspired by a remarkable whisky he had tasted. One of his friends owned a cask of Islay whisky that had fallen below 40%. To bottle the whisky, it was blended with another cask of younger Islay whisky. A limited edition of 754 bottles.
