Lot presentation
Alfred Lamb's Special Reserve 1939 United Rum Merchants Special Consignment One of 918 Limited Edition
The wine
This Jamaican rum, whose exact origins are unknown, was bottled in honour of Alfred Lamb, a key figure in the history of rum, who invented Lamb’’s Navy Rum in 1849, which is a blend of rums from the Caribbean. It was distilled in 1939 and bottled by United Rum Merchants in the late 1980s after ageing in Scotland, at least partially, in Dumbarton. A limited edition of 918 bottes.
