The wine

This highly expressive Tuscan wine has real character. And what better pairing to take advantage of it than a piece of grilled red meat? Its bouquet produces elegant, fruity aromas, along with more intense aromas of spices and tobacco. The palate is well-structured and tannic, enhanced by an acidity which enables it to be kept for a few years in the cellar.

About the Producer Castello del Terriccio

Castello del Terriccio, which is considered to be one of the finest domaines in Tuscany, is situated to the north of Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast. It comprises 60 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes which reap the benefits of a clay, limestone and silty soil and a maritime climate. It is a fine example of what are popularly dubbed the “super Tuscans”
