Lot presentation
Larsen Of. Ceramic Viking Ship
The wine
Cognac Larsen is a Fine Champagne cognac made with grapes grown in the most prestigious crus in the appellation, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. It is presented here in a Limoges porcelain decanter in the shape of a Viking long ship, hand-carved with 24-carat gold. This original decanter reflects the history of the house, which was founded in 1926 by Jens Reidar Larsen, who originally left on a ship for America but ultimately ended up settling in Cognac after a stop-over in Bordeaux.
