The wine

The estate cultivates its vines with great respect for the terroir and the environment, to produce grapes bursting with freshness, flavour and authenticity. In the vineyard, organic methods and handpicking ensure that the grapes are of the highest quality. The Pinot Noir vines thrive wonderfully on the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits. Once in the winery, the grapes are vinified with as little intervention as possible. The cuvée then undergoes a well-mastered ageing process in oak casks before being bottled.
The rich red colour and purplish reflections reveal a subtle nose characterised by red and black fruit such as cherry, raspberry and blackberry combined with floral aromas of violet. On the palate, this 100% Pinot Noir reveals a tannic structure with a perfect balance and fine acidity, culminating in a spicy finish or incredible length. This superb Premier Cru is the ultimate wine for laying down.
