Isautier 14 years 2004 Of. Antoinette Edition Limitée
The wine
Isautier 2004 was matured for 14 years in the Saint-Pierre cellar on Réunion Island. It is a traditional rum, meaning it was distilled from molasses in a column still. This bottling was created in tribute to Antoinette Isautier, the first woman to manage the company in 1865.
About the Producer Isautier
Isautier is proud to be Réunion Island’s oldest rum distillery, founded in 1845 under the reign of King Louis Philippe I after the king and Charles Isautier fell in love with the island and sugar cane. Six generations have taken over at the helm, in the process developing the business’ international scope. The trademark triangular bottle was created in 1910, quickly becoming an inseparable symbol of the brand. In 1970, Isautier launched its first flavoured rum made from spices, leaves and peels. Drawing on this ancestral expertise, Isautier today offers a full range of flavoured rums. It is in the heart of the world’s most tropical climate, in extremely rich soils that the canes thrive thanks to the nourishing volcanic lands that afford it its sought-after characteristics. Isautier’s flavoured rums, white rums, aged rums and liqueurs are a reflection of Réunion Island’s incredible heritage and have become internationally acclaimed products.
