The wine
Les Méandres is a collection of wines from several parcels from different terroirs located in the communes of Ampuis and Tupin Semons. This lends it an elegant complexity; it can be enjoyed while young and fruity, showing off its notes of stewed ripe red berries, enhanced by floral and spicy notes. Its perfect balance between power and freshness, its beautiful structure and evident yet refined tannins enable it to form lovely pairings with game. To make this blend, Syrah grapes are completely destemmed before fermentation and macerated in a thermoregulated vat for more than three weeks. Punch-downs and pump-overs are a regular feature of this stage. The wine is matured in barrique barrels for 14 months.
