Armand Heitz

In 2012, Armand Heitz set himself the task of livening up the vineyard of his ancestors. Let's head to Chassagne-Montrachet.

Armand Heitz comes from a family of wine négociants in the Côte de Beaune. In 2012, after completing a degree in oenology, he decided to return to the family property where he wished to bring the vine culture back to life. He now has 20 hectares to work with, alongside his brother-in-law Augustin Ceyrac who manages Domaine de la Combe Vineuse. Passionate about agronomy and about agriculture more broadly, Armand has decided to lean towards agro-ecology and regenerative agriculture in his production in order to ensure the protection of his vines and the quality of the resulting wine.

WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY...

BETTANE & DESSEAUVE

An emerging, young talent, Armand Heitz follows biodynamic principles and vinifies his reds in whole harvests. The whites have a lovely tone.
