★ Partner ProducerIn addition to his own domain in Ampuis in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, René Rostaing, took over his father-in-law Albert Derviux’s property which was one of the largest in the region. These very high-quality vineyards include 7 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie (with 2 hectares in Landonne), just over one hectare in the Côte Blonde and a plot just next to La Turque de Guigal in the Côte Brune. The estate produces three single parcel cuvées which are matured for 24 months in barrels that have been used for several wines. René Rostaing also owns vineyard plots in Condrieu and the Coteaux du Languedoc. He practises sustainable viticulture and has made a name for himself as a very talented winegrower whose wines are highly sought-after all over the world.
