        Ullens was founded in 2012 near Hermonville, in the heart of the emblematic Champagne wine-growing region. Maxime Ullens, an enthusiastic and brilliant young winemaker, runs the company with a master’s hand. He took over the Marzilly estate, renovating the château and the 32 hectares of parkland surrounding it. At the same time, he took over a small, untouched plot of vines on the estate. Falling in love with his vines, he decided to resume his studies to produce his own champagne. Eight years later, he succeeded, launching his first vintage. He cultivates the region’s signature grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, with passion. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the winemaker handles his four hectares of vines with the utmost respect for the land. The domain offers unique and delicious vintages reflecting the relentless work of a passionate driven winemaker and an exceptional terroir.
