Burgundy | 1995 vintage
Despite the late development of vegetation compared to previous vintages, 1995 was one of the earliest harvests of these last 20 years. The cold spring was followed by a very hot spell. On the whole, this vintage is quite homogeneous for reds and whites. The red wines, intense and deep-coloured, are well-balanced with round and mellow tannins. The white wines have plenty of acidity and are rich in natural sugar. Good for cellaring. They are remarkably balanced, fresh and fruity.
