This great vintage is also characterised by a more abundant harvest than the last few years. Thanks to the hot, dry weather, flowering at the beginning of June was very quick. The contrasting weather in the summer caused a few worries as to how well the grapes would ripen. Fortunately September was exceptionally dry and bright which brought on an early and sunny harvest. The red wines have a lovely pronounced colour. The nose is concentrated and very fruity. The wines are well-structured on the palate with fine tannins. The wine's fruit and balance make it very harmonious already. The white wines distinguish themselves with their well-developed aromas. They are ample and elegant with a lovely acidity that gives them tremendous freshness.
