Domaine Rois Mages

Founded by Anne-Sophie Debavelaere in 1984, Domaine des Rois Mages has entrusted her beloved estate to her son, Félix, who arrived at there in 2009. The climats of Rully, Bouzeron and Beaune are beautifully represented in the estate’s light and precise wines.

Domaine Rois Mages

Domaine des Rois Mages was created by Burgundian Anne-Sophie Debavelaere in 1984, starting with an estate in Rully in the Côte Chalonnaise. She has since expanded into Bouzeron and Beaune. The estate now grows 10 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Aligoté with integrated farming. After harvest, the grapes are meticulously sorted pressed and vinified in either oak barrels or stainless-steel vats. The wines are matured in oak barrels.
The estate was long named after its creator, but she later decided to change it to “Rois Mages” (to reference her maiden name, Melchior). In 2009, Félix, one of her sons, joined her after having travelling the world.Oenologist and passionate winemaker, he continues to evolve the wines, appreciated by enthusiasts for their lightness and precision. Today, the estate cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté over 11 hectares according to sustainable agriculture principles. Once harvested, the grapes are carefully sorted, gently pressed, and vinified either in oak casks or stainless steel vats. Ageing also takes place in oak barrels as is the Burgundian tradition.
