Domaine des Rois Mages was created by Burgundian Anne-Sophie Debavelaere in 1984, starting with an estate in Rully in the Côte Chalonnaise. She has since expanded into Bouzeron and Beaune. The domain now grows 10 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Aligoté with integrated farming. After harvest, the grapes are meticulously sorted pressed and vinified in either oak barrels or stainless-steel vats. The wines are matured in oak barrels.

This Rully is produced in the heart of the appellation; the Chardonnay vines benefit from this stony terroir which encourages their roots to delve deeper into the soil for nutrients. In tasting it reveals delicious length with abundant notes of dried fruit and roasted nuts (almond and hazelnut) as well as vanilla, white flowers and honey. Equally enjoyable drinking as an aperitif, or with a meal. Ideally served at between 12 and 14°C.
