In the extreme north of Italy, Nicola Manferrati is considered to be one of the finest winegrowers in the Friuli region. His vines are located on superb steep vineyards and are tended with great care in the most natural way possible. He produces low volumes, using small oak barrels. His wines are blended from different parcels. A passionate experimenter who is always striving for excellence, Nicolas Manferrati creates wines with phenomenal cellaring potential.

This white wine is a single-variety Friulano – a local variety similar to Sauvignon, with a more pronounced fullness and aromas, including almond notes as a result of its barrel élevage. This is a parcel-based selection from the Ronco della Chiesa vineyard, a 1.2-hectare parcel where high-density forty-year-old rootstocks are cultivated.
