Languedoc Mas Jullien Olivier Jullien 1999
Information
The spearhead of the Languedoc wine revolution, Mas Jullien was created by Olivier Jullien in 1985. Located in Joncquières, to the north of Montpellier, the domain covers 18 hectares. By studying his soils carefully and using native grape varieties, Olivier Jullien has elevated his domain to the highest levels of excellence, producing refined, subtle, perfectly-balanced wines. The vineyard is cultivated in an environmentally friendly way, and was even organically certified for a while. Olivier Jullien produces superb wines which are acknowledged and sought out by connoisseurs and professionals alike. Thanks to his work, the domain is now clearly at the very peak of the appellation.
This rosé is aged in vats on fine lees for about four months. Its nose is very fruity with spicy notes and notes of dried flowers. On the palate it stands out due to its fine vinosity, fluid and creamy substance and pleasant freshness.
