Information
Matteo Correggia took over the family domaine in 1985. Located in Roero, in the southern Piedmont, it boasts sandy, marly and fossiliferous limestone soils. Its red wines made from Nebbiolo grapes have round, silky tannins and are pleasingly fresh on the palate. The whites are rich with sublime bouquets. Matteo Correggia’s wines also have good cellaring potential.
Matteo Correggia has produced a Barbera d'Alba with an intense ruby-red colour and an elegant nose filled with notes of roses, violets and red berries. The palate is a reprise of these same scents, enabling delicious pairings with cheese or white meat. A wine to be enjoyed in its youth.
