The Pago de los Capellanes bodega founded in 1996 produces wines made exclusively from Tinto Fino, an indigenous form of Tempranillo. It is divided into 35 parcels which are vinified separately and produces very structured, elegant wines, with fine fruitiness and an exquisite bouquet.

El Picon is produced from a clay and limestone-rich vineyard plot and matured in French oak barrels for 26 months. It is structured around the typical balsamic and undergrowth aromas of the Ribera del Duero but also offers up notes of cinnamon, tobacco and truffle. Its soft tannins coat the mouth beautifully and the finish is long and persistent. This wine can be kept in the cellar for a good number of years.
