Catherine Roussel and Didier Barouillet inherited this property, clinging to the hillside above the Cher, and converted it to organic winegrowing in 1992. It produces clean, natural and additive-free, fruity wines that reflect the terroir.

Catherine Roussel and her partner Didier Barrouillet are the team behind le Clos Roche Blanche, which they converted to organic status in 1992. Didier attaches great importance to, and is extremely interested, in ecology; he has created a kind of ecological laboratory where flora interact with, and protect, the vines. Their wines are frank and natural, bearing remarkable aromatic precision.
