Domaine Saumaize now covers just over 8 hectares in Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran and Mâcon-Bussières. Respectful of their terroir (ploughing, compost, vineyard work, no insecticides), Jacques and Nathalie Saumaize produce wines with a solid reputation in the Mâconnais. A must-see!

Saint-Véran En Crèche comes from relatively young vines (between 10 and 30 years), producing a wine that, although not incredibly complex, is still well made and very digestible. The nose and palate both feature aromas of citrus (lemon), white flowers, attractive substance and a certain taut minerality.
