    Information
    About the producer

The Château d'Aurilhac, in Haut-Médoc, is owned by Erik Nieuwaal (also owner of a neighboring castle, the Fagolle) since 1983. The vineyard covers about 20 hectares, planted in Cabernet Franc, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. This domain has rapidly become one of the most prestigious names in the appellation, particularly appreciated by professional critics and still offers excellent value for money.

    About the wine

The Château Aurilhac is a very well processed wine, with an rare value for money. The nose expresses aromas of black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), spicy and slightly woody notes. The palate delivers a rich and creamy body, ending in a long finish. This wine will easily age 7 to 10 years.
