Olivier Giroux is a passionate wine grower, who only bought Clos des Rocs in 2002. As he says himself, his ultimate goal for his wines is to put "a smile of pleasure on the face of the person who enjoys them". He has succeeded in this respect especially since the field has focused on organic wine cultivation since 2005, and is awaiting certification. On this unique land in Loché, Olivier Giroux does high quality work.

Le Clos des Rocs Monopole is the domaine's signature wine, and is among the Mâconnais region's most precious pearls. After manual harvesting, the grapes are pressed slowly. Fermentation uses native yeasts, and élevage lasts approximately one year (60% in barrels and 40% in stainless steel tanks). This process reveals a genuine salinity and crystalline sensations, making this a fresh and attractive wine.
