Information
About the producer

One hundred years ago, Valentine and her husband Arthur Delon inherited 36 hectares of vineyard that were passed down from generation to generation. Over the decades, the domain expanded and today boasts 64 hectares; 50 of these are planted with vines. In 1999, their descendant Emmanuelle moved to the farm to become a winegrower with the support of her son. Her partner Luc Vignal, a former cellarman, joined the business in 2008 and helps them produce their 11 cuvées. Most of the wines are single variety and organic. The vineyard is planted in the south of the Costières-de-Nimes appellation on a terroir of galets roulés that allows the rainwater to seep between the pebbles and feed the vines in the dry summer months. 10 of the 50 hectares of vines are grown organically with traditional cultivation methods.

About the wine

Vinified in carbonic maceration to conserve the fruit, like certain Beaujolais, this cuvée is very mouth-watering! Aged for seven months in Burgundy barrels, it pairs perfectly with starters or light meat. It unfurls indulgent notes of ripe fruit and sweet spices enhanced by a dense and velvety palate. The tannins are refined and this is a well-balanced wine.
