Having acquired a real reputation with the wines from his trade, since 2006, with the help of his son, Dominique Laurent has also created a small producer-farming establishment from vineyards leased to a winemaker of Vosne-Romanée. He does not deal with vinification but élevage and bottling. Nevertheless, he supervises vinification. The father and son like to work grape musts that have not been destemmed and to mature their wines without sulphur. They use new barrels, the signature of the maison. Dominique Laurent's entire range of wines is characterised by a high degree of purity and to be accessible to all ages. This recipe has proved its worth to fans all over the world.

Following our recommended few years of cellaring, this Volnay Premier Cru will offer a bouquet of rich red and black berry notes (redcurrant, cherry, raspberry), cooked and stewed fruit and sweet spices. It is well rounded and supple, with a long finish in a spicy register, and pairs perfectly with roast poultry or a meat dish with figs or prunes.
