Jean-Pierre Chevalier's parents (winegrowers for three generations) bought Château de Villeneuve in 1969. Vines have existed on the property since the 16th century. There are 16 hectares of Chenin and 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc planted on limestone bedrock. The châteaux of this region are built from this same material. The vineyard has organic certification and Jean-Pierre Chevallier run the estate, producing terroir driven wines with great purity and freshness. A reference of Saumur-Champigny.

Produced from a small, enclosed 1.5-hectare clos​​, this little extracted cuvée, vinified on the fruit charms us with the tenderness of its fruitiness, indulgence and digestibility. A delicious wine to enjoy with friends… pure indulgence.
