About the producer

Founded in Dublin in 2015 by Jack and Stephen Teeling, the sons of Cooley's founder John Teeling, Teeling was the first distillery to open in the city for 125 years, despite the fact that the distillery had at one time been home to some fifty or so. It bottled its first whiskey in 2018. The distillery's emblem is a phoenix, symbolizing the company's regeneration, as Walter Teeling, an ancestor of the current owners, had opened a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, not far from the current distillery. A family story.

About the wine

This edition of Teeling is the first in the Brabazon series named after William Brabazon, the third Earl of Meath, who presided over Newmarket in the 17th century. A blend of six sherry casks released in 2017. A limited edition of 12,500 bottles.
